The first gig ever at Town Hall
The first show at the infamous punk rock fire house
RECORD IGNITE!'s first gig.
The immortal evening of the PROM KINGS 7-inch release party, peanut butter smearing, Torley-thrashing, and the third and last show at the Punk Rock Fire House
The mystery gig - did not occur in New Paltz thanks to building codes, but a fun time was had at Town Hall anyway.
Featuring the return of the Re-Virtz, lots of shoving, crowd surfing, mattress bouncing, and possibly the best Town Hall gig ever.
An insane gig indeed, with lotsa matress bouncing, fetus burgers, broken (and bloody) fingers and indecent exposure.
EBS's historic opening for those gay (and jolly) punks, which definitely proved worth the effort to sneak into Fordham
Town Hall invaded New York. Some scheduling problems saw to it that both bands went on last, but those who stuck around were definitely handed their money's worth in spades, as evidenced by Ryan's blood soaked guitar and a ripping version of stepping Stone by God Awful, during which Mike Shaw left the band to join the crowd in their chicanery.
Florida, NY rocked with the sweat and intensity of too much Town Hall for its own good. No one was spared. A huge crowd witnessed all the monstrous activity. Hopes abound that the good Vito Roberto will allow such festivities to go on once again.
SATURDAY MARCH 28TH - TOWN HALL -

IGNITE!
SUNDAY MARCH 29TH - THE ECLIPSE, MIDDLETOWN - THE SELLOUTS, RECORD IGNITE!, JERK
MAGNET, EBS, GOD AWFUL
What could have been a perfect weekend of rock was somewhat marred
by Vito, but Town Hall soldiered on anyway. Town Hall rockedon Saturday
until the 5-0 showed up during Record Ignite! The few left after the
incident were given a priate screening in the kitchen.
On Sunday, the Eclipse was shaken by the Town Hall faithful, despite
Marco's warning to the populace at large that "if you break my galss, I'm
gonna break your ass!"
EBS @ CBGB's, April 13, 1998
Halps and the crew rocked out at CB's for the first time, and the sound was great, aside from the drum set's decision to dismantle itself in front of Josh's startled eyes.
RECORD IGNITE! @ CBGB's, April 20th, 1998
The CB's-Town Hall curse reared its ugly head again, with Adam's amp deciding to be sporadic the second it was placed on stage. However, a healthy crowd helped the rock prevail, and RI! passed the audition. Conclusive proof that, yes, there is a drawer
TOWN HALL COMPANY PICNIC - JUNE 7TH 1998
Wazoo, God Awful and Record Ignite
The rain mostly held out, the cops mostly didn't harrass us, and it was almost a success. The sound proved excellent and better the further away you got. Not quite ideal for the punk rock aesthetic, but beautiful noentheless
Town Hall Send Off Show, Thursday
June 25th, Ledge Inn, Greenwood Lake NY
w/The Locals, Secret Police, EBS, Wazoo,Record Ignite! and God Awful
Witth temperatures well exceeding 170 degrees (Celsius) inside the
Ledge Inn, sweat dripped from the walls and the air turned chewing and
soft. Large chunks of the atmosphere were broken off and handed around for
sustaining nourishment. The reason for this insanity was, of course,
another rockin' Town Hall show, with the debut of The Locals and very
gracious host who let the festivities go on well past Midnight. This is
the last we'll see from God Awful and Record Ignite until they return from
tour on July 20th.
TOWN HALL SATURDAY AUGUST 22ND - THE LOCALS, EBS,
RECORD IGNITE!,
GOD AWFUL,
WAZOO, and THE SKELLS
Sweat, bouncing matresses and what-not; the usual Town Hall nonsense,
as we wouldn't have it any other way. Shaw filled in on drums for the Locals, and the
Skells made their glorious post-PK debut. Expect a lot from these folks.
